3L-EP™ Electrical Powered Low Location Lighting System

The 3L‑EP™ Electrical Powered Low Location Lighting System is designed to provide reliable escape route guidance at floor level. Unlike traditional photoluminescent systems, 3L‑EP™ uses LED technology that does not rely on external light sources and never fades over time. Its flexibility allows installation even on curved walls, making it suitable for complex ship and offshore environments.

How the 3L‑EP™ LED LLL System Works

Ships carrying more than 36 passengers are required to have Low Location Lighting systems installed. The 3L‑EP™ LLL system meets all environmental and performance standards, including:

  • IEC Pub. 598‑2‑22: Electrical equipment type testing

  • DNV MED approvals: Instrumentation and automation equipment certification

  • 3L‑SI™ certification: Full compliance for a Low Location Lighting
